We are are so enthusiastic about another wonderful year of Give for Good through the Community Foundation! Early giving begins TODAY and runs through Give for Good Day, Tuesday, May 7th.
We hope you will help our mission to help young pianists prepare themselves for future careers, and to expose the local community to high quality musicians.
Through our work and the dedicated support of our community through events like Give for Good, every year, we are able to fulfill.
The next competition will be held December 6-8, 2024 at Hurley Auditorium at Centenary College.

Wideman Piano Competition is held each year at Hurley School of Music at Centenary College, Shreveport, Louisiana.
Our competition draws talented pianists from all over the world. We hope that you will consider joining us!
2023 Wideman Competition will be held December 1-3, 2023
In addition to cash prize, Gold medalist will get concerto and solo concert engagements around the country!
